Why doesn't my mattress they just delivered feel like it did in the store?
It may be one of a couple things. First, your mattress was compressed and rolled for shipment and warehousing. When unboxed, your new mattress will immediately expand to 90-95% of its comfort and will then take another 24-72 hours to have “full feel.” It may take slightly longer in winter months. You can sleep on your new mattress right away. It only gets better as each day goes by! Second, your new mattress was just built in our factory a short time ago, usually within the last month. The floor sample you tried out has likely been in the store a year or more and been tested many times by different people.
Why isn't the mattress they just delivered the same height as the one in the store I purchased?
Your mattress was compressed and rolled for shipment and warehousing. When unboxed, your new mattress will immediately expand to 90-95% of its height and will then take another 24-72 hours to have full height. It may take slightly longer in winter months. You can sleep on your new mattress right away. The key to faster expansion is a room kept above 71 degrees for a few days.
Why is my mattress sagging?
The most likely reason your mattress is sagging is because it is very heavy and it is on a frame without a center support, an old foundation (boxspring) or another brand of foundation not designed for the weight of your new Posh+Lavish mattress. A Posh+Lavish mattress is two to three times heavier than other mattresses on the market or a mattress that is 10 years old. An adjustable bed frame or a Posh+Lavish foundation specifically designed for your new mattress will ensure your mattress has a long performance life. Your mattress has one of the finest warranties in the industry but you will need the proper frame and foundation to not have your mattress show body impressions.
When will the new bed smell go away?
“Unmake” your mattress in the morning and leave it uncovered during the day for a few days. Simply giving the mattress a chance to breathe without a mattress protector on it, or sheets and blankets on it is one of the most important things you can do.
Open the door to your bedroom to the rest of your house and if you have one – turn on the ceiling fan or turn you furnace/air conditioning thermostat to the “on” position
